Launching ENJOY KESWICK website
Zeitgeist Communication develops new website for businesses and tourist attractions in Keswick – ENJOY KESWICK
Keswick, 28 June 2018, Zeitgeist Communication Limited has developed a brand-new website to help promote businesses as well as other tourist attractions in Keswick. The communications agency has developed this website on behalf of one of its clients, Keswick Ministries. The ENJOY KESWICK website has been designed to help promote tourist attractions and shops to the 12,000 plus visitors attending the Keswick Convention each year.
“We are delighted to have been asked to put the ENJOY KESWICK website together. More than 40 organisations and local causes are being promoted via this website and we hope it will help tourists, mainly from the Convention, quickly identify the type of shops and activities they would like to pursue while in Keswick. We have opted for a simple, clean design which allows visitors to easily choose from categories such as food, shopping, the arts, relaxing and others.”, says Jutta Devenish, Managing Director, Zeitgeist Communication.
The website, designed with parallax scrolling to allow for a quick content overview, will be promoted to Conventioners this week via Keswick Ministries’ newsletter and social media so as to allow Conventioners time in the run-up to the event to plan various activities. Next to businesses, the Cumbria Community Foundation, the Friends of Keswick initiative and the Lake District Pound are highlighted on the page. All businesses on the website will also be promoted in the corresponding Enjoy Keswick handbook insert handed out to all Conventioners this summer.
Chief Operating Officer for Keswick Ministries said: “We want the Keswick Convention to be a source of pride for the town and to bring tangible benefits. We can help do this by forging closer relations with local businesses and developing a deeper engagement between conventioners, shops, restaurants and activity centres. The Enjoy Keswick website that Zeitgeist Communication built is a fantastic innovation that helps businesses communicate with visitors through a beautiful snapshot of the many wonderful attractions in this gorgeous market town. It is one of a number of excellent ideas that Zeitgeist have brought to the table.”
Jutta Devenish adds: “Jenny Daymond, part of the Zeitgeist creative network, who worked closely with businesses on getting their profiles online, and I have seen the passion people in this region have for their businesses and their towns. We believe that much more can be done through online marketing to help businesses promote their unique offerings and help locals as well as tourists find what is on offer. We are looking forward to doing more work in this area.”
Zeitgeist Communication Limited works with a variety of clients in Cumbria and beyond, providing integrated communication solutions, including Public Relations, online and social media marketing and brand development.
